Running club? Group of friends? We can help!
If you’re looking to organise a trip for your running club, or would like to book a running adventure with a group of friends, you’ve come to the right place!
In addition to scheduled public tours, which are open to individual travellers, any of the tours we offer can also be booked as private experiences for groups, either on other dates or of course by making one of the public tour dates into a private tour (if you’re booking well in advance before other public guests of course!).
A private tour gives you:
- The perfect opportunity to enjoy your running adventure in the company of friends.
- The chance to choose other dates if the scheduled public tour dates do not suit your plans.
- In many cases, the itinerary can be adjusted to suit your needs – perhaps you’d like to increase or decrease the level of challenge, or to adjust the length of the tour to make a shorter or longer trip.
- Depending on group size and options chosen, it may be possible to offer a discounted rate for groups. If you’re the coordinator for the group, contact us to discuss how we may be able to offer a reduced cost or (depending the size of your group) even a complementary space for you!
How big a group do I need to book a private tour?
This depends on the tour you’re choosing, but in most cases, a private tour can be offered at standard prices based on the minimum number required for scheduled tours to be guaranteed. See under “Group Size” under each tour page for the minimum number of persons required, which is typically between 4 and 6 persons.
Travelling as a group? Book ahead!
If you’re planning a tour as a running club or group of friends, we strongly recommend booking as far in advance as possible, as availability for private tours can quickly become limited.
This also gives you plenty of time to get organised and encourage everyone to sign up!
You don’t need to know exactly how many persons in total you will be – start by making a booking for the minimum number you know will travel, so that your tour dates can be reserved. You can always add additional participants later if required (subject to remaining availability of course).
