Fixed Base Tours

Fixed Base Tours

These tours have a central accommodation base, where you will take day tours to explore the surrounding countryside.

A fixed-based tour has a number of advantages – you can really settle in and feel at home, and you have a cosy and familiar place to return to and unwind at the end of each day’s run. It also gives you the option to vary the level of challenge by skipping a run if you feel like a rest.

But being based at one point in no way diminishes the variation or adventure of the week – there’s plenty to explore and experience!

Guided Tours

Guided Tours

Choosing a guided tour has many benefits.

A guide provides inside knowledge of the places you’ll be running in that are not possible for a self-guided trip. Insider knowledge of the area means you’ll hit all the highlights! Our guides will often share stories and snippets of history as you move through the landscape to enhance and complement your running experience.

A guided tour also has a social aspect – experiencing a new destination with others allows you to share your adventure and connect with fellow runners. The relationships you build and new friends you make may extend long after your tour ends!

Point to Point Tours

Point to Point Tours

For our point-to-point running holidays, you will be moving overnight location during your tour. Depending on the itinerary, you may move to a new location each day or have a couple of nights at the same point to do a day tour.

Your luggage will be transferred for you, meaning you need to run only with the bare minimum during the day – a packed lunch, some water and an extra layer in  case the weather changes!

Self-guided Tours

Self-guided Tours

A self-guided running holiday is for you if you prefer to travel with a partner, friend or group of friends (min. 2 persons are always required for any self-guided tour for safety reasons) but without a guide. Our self-guided tours are a great way to experience running at your own pace. Dates are flexible and you can choose dates that fit you. You run at your own pace and let us take care of the details for you!
